Participation Information
The
subscription fee for DKC 2006 - 2007 is $1.29 per
student, Digital Knowledge Central is a collection
of quality online
resources that provide a portable, virtual library for
every student, teacher and parent, and is accessible
anytime
from school and from home. This collection provides a
balanced amount of resources for the K-12 classroom
in
English and Spanish covering all content areas, TEKS
Alignment, Curriculum integration, as well as professional
development.
The DKC package includes Britannica On-line School Edition,
Britannica en Espanol, (new) Britannica
Elementary Spanish Encyclopeadia, EBSCO
Host, EBSCO Searchasaurus, EBSCO Student Research Center,
EBSCO Kids Search, (new) EBSCO's
K-12 TexShare package, NewsBank and
NewsBank KidsPage. The maximum per campus fee will
remain $3,000. The minimum per campus is $300.
