Editorial. This article presents an argument on homeland

bipartisan support in both the House and Senate.

Editorial. This article presents an argument
on securing freedoms through civil liberties and the Patriot
Act in the United States. On September 11, 2001, more than
3,000 people died when terrorists hijacked four airplanes
and flew them into the towers of the World Trade Center in
New York City, the Pentagon, and another target that was
never reached. In the backlash that followed, the U.S. made
substantial changes to its strategies for dealing with domestic
security, including the 2001 Patriot Act.
