Pearl Harbor acted as the homeport for the Pacific fleet.
On Sunday, December 7, 1941, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor,
causing one of the most devastating military attacks in U.S.
history. The two battleships most badly damaged in the attack
were the Oklahoma and the Arizona. There were 429 lives lost
on the Oklahoma and 1,177 lives lost on the Arizona. The USS
Arizona Memorial was constructed above the remains of the
sunken battleship and completed in 1962

the wolves there was a big hole in Yellowstone's ecosystem.

do, were going hungry. The ecosystem was badly out of balance.
