Biography Resource Center - Searches by name, gender, occupation, ethnicity and more. 440,000 concise and in-depth biographies, including thousands created exclusively for Biography Resource Center. More than 27,000 images, full-text articles from more than 325 magazines and newspapers. Links to nearly 19,000 vetted Web sites and a “Spotlight On” home-page highlight of an individual in the news or of historical significance.
Global Issues - Newspapers, magazines and journals: 400 titles — all in English — from all around the world provide a comprehensive view Reference works: 80+ of the most-used encyclopedias from Gale, Macmillan and U•X•L offer background information.
Opposing Viewpoints Resource - The content is comprised of reference resources,
and covers 250 of the most assigned topics such as: crime prevention, drug abuse
euthanasia, illegal immigration, school violence, and stem cells. This resource also features extensive use of audio – including MP3s of each article, as well as key word definitions
for SAT terms that can be heard aloud – will help reach lower-level readers.
